Accreditation

American Council of Trustees & Alumni
The American Council of Trustees & Alumni has published a report on accreditation. The full report can be found here.

Some excerpts from the report:
The system of accreditation that has evolved in the United States, we have seen, does not serve to assure educational
excellence or even competence.

Parents and students should bear in mind that accreditation is no guarantee of educational quality, and conversely that lack
of accreditation (or suspension thereof) does not necessarily indicate that the institution fails to provide a sound
educational environment. At the present time, almost all colleges and universities are accredited, but that may change in
the future and if so, parents and students should consider colleges and universities without regard to accreditation status.
In this regard, it is worth noting that there are non-accredited professional schools that have a record of success.

Lack of accredited status does not necessarily mean that an institution is lacking in educational capability.

Our Status
We are endorsed by the Alliance of Reformed Schools (ARS). ARS is an independent accrediting agency. Our endorsement
by this accreditor does not imply any shared doctrinal standards. To see our school's doctrinal standards please see our
Doctrinal Statement page.

We have not ever been, nor will we seek to be regionally accredited. We do not think that it is wise to give an outside agency
any control over the Church or the education of the Church.
